Mechatronic-engineers are generalists in demand, who study at the intersection of the subject areas mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science. These future engineers are able to understand complex causal relationships - with their broad understanding of sensory analysis, control and automatization processes they can be brought in wherever intelligent systems are at work.
With this knowledge they are able to work in as many different fields as hardly any other engineer can do. Electrical engineering and mechanical engineering companies e.g. use this degree course of University 21 for further training of their Mechatronic engineers.
There are employment possibilties in all companies who have their own production plants.
It is not possible any longer to imagine their maintenance, development and installation without Mechatronic engineers. They are employed as developers, project managers, consultants and at different intersections - from raw material via finished product directly to the customer.
