Applying at Uni-Assist
First year students are accepted twice a year. All degree courses usually start the last Monday in March (summer term) and the last Monday in September (winter term), (physiotherapy once a year in autumn).
Who and Where?
Germans and foreigners with German education can directly apply at University 21.
Foreigners from EU-countries and applicants from EWR-countries like Norway, Island and Liechtenstein as well as all non-EU / non-EWR foreigners and stateless applicants have to apply for studies at University 21 via “Uni-Assist” in Berlin, the "Application Service for International Students".

When?
There is no existing deadline for the presentation of documents at Uni-Assist in Berlin. Applications for degree courses at University 21 may be sent to Uni-Assist throughout the year. After passing the qualification test, University 21 will confirm admission to summer or winter term.
How?
Applicants can download the application form for one application here. There is also the possibility of online-application at Uni-Assist.
When the service charge has been received, Uni-Assist checks your documents and tracks the progress of your application. Only after the documents have been completely submitted and the criteria for access to German universities have been fulfilled, will Uni-Assist pass on your information to University 21. Subsequently, University 21 invites you to participate in a qualification test with admission upon successful completion.
Payment and Money Transfer
Information about the operating costs for applications is provided by Uni-Assist. Applications will only be processed when the service charge has been paid.
