Studies with Added Value
The person, who studies "dually" at University 21 in Buxtehude, gets to know practice in a company long before he receives his bachelor certificate. This experience is what makes University 21 students be a hair’s breadth in front of others at their start for a job.
Training Places Lecture Hall and Company
University 21 is the first private university in Germany, whose courses in the field of construction industry have been certified as dual degree courses. Since October 2006 University 21 expanded its range of courses to the degree course physiotherapy "DUAL". Forward-looking tried and tested practical training is connected with key-qualifications and academic qualification in this course.
"Dual" means that theoretical studies are connected to practical periods in a partner company. The change from "lecture hall to company" takes place in a three month rhythm. Only the degree course physiotherapy has a different structure, but connects theory and practice as well. Therefore the students need to show a lot of commitment.
The students are able to increase this lead, if they make full use of the added value of the studies and pass the examination for the certificate of completion of an apprenticeship or rather for a state-recognized graduation certificate, in some cases even for the master on construction trade. By the way: All of the University 21 bachelor certificates meet the international standard. Please note that in almost every country physiotherapy is a so-called "profession regulated by law". A national recognition has to be applied for individually. As a rule an automatic acknowledgement of certificates from other countries does not exist.
